Parks with EMH seem more crowded because resort guests usually take advantage of the extra hours and tend to stay there for convenience and they are mixed in with day guests, so that's why I avoid EMH parks altogether. Tuesday seems less crowded at MK because most vacationers went there on Monday and want to visit somewhere else. Mondays at MK seem to be more crowded because many Sunday arrivals want their first full Disney day at the main attraction. Many books outline it similar to this: Saturday and Sunday are usually more crowded because of vacationers and locals who are off from work/school. Crowd calendars (I am a TouringPlans subscriber) seem to use information that is not a secret, but does make sense when you look at a schedule for a specific day. So Even though a park might be recommended by every crowd calendar, the reality is that such a small percentage of visitors use these calendars (you see the families standing at the MK hub with a map, all pointing in separate directions when they arrive at noon?).
